1990-94 Bow-making studies at the advanced technical college for the manufacturing of music instruments in Markneukirchen
Internship with Tilman Muthesius in Potsdam and N.Nilsson in Malmö, Sweden
1994 diploma examination and master craftsman's diploma
1995-96 learning French bow-making with Pierre Guillaume in Brussels, Belgium
1996 first independent workshop in Markneukirchen
since 1998 workshop together with violin maker Haiko Seifert in Plauen
since 2004 Instructor and lecturer at the advanced technical college for the manufacturing of music instruments in Markneukirchen
the orchestra of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bern gets a set of classical bows for all strings
2005 first place in the 5th international violin and bow-making competition in Mittenwald for a modern viola bow
2009 the strings of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Kiel are entirely equipped with classical bows
2010 The Leipzig string quartet buys a set of classical bows and performances with them include a Haydn CD recording.

collaboration at the research project „A bow for Beethoven“ at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bern

2016 teaching bowmaking as a visiting professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Markneukirchen
from winter semester 2017, we plan to establish its own professional direction bowmaking
